Our Double-Cask Rye whiskey is aged for a minimum six months in new American oak casks, and then finished in used French oak casks that previously held California port-style wine. This gives the Whiskey a unique smoothness and complexity coupled with a nice Rye spiciness.
Nose: Spiced fruit punch, filo pastry and cookie dough.
Palate: Pepper crackers, marmalade and raisins.
Finish: Warming on the finish with rye spice and cinnamon.
